Terms of service

Last updated 19 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Geary Works (“we”, “us”), a sole proprietorship in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, about rowlabels.com and the Row Labels tool. Using the site means you accept them.

1. What you are getting

Row Labels turns rows of a spreadsheet into a PDF laid out for a sheet of labels. Today the site is a description of that tool and an email box; the tool itself is still being built, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise that it exists yet or a date by which it will. When the tool does open, the sections below govern it.

2. Prices and passes

Your first page of labels is free. After that a seven-day pass is $5 and a year is $15, in US dollars. A pass gives you unlimited sheets for its length and then simply stops — nothing renews automatically and we never store a card to charge again. If we change prices, the pass you already bought keeps the price you paid for its whole term.

3. Payment

Payments are taken by Polar Software Inc., acting as merchant of record. Polar handles the card, the receipt, and any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are. Their terms cover the payment itself; ours cover the tool.

4. Refunds

There is a plain refund policy on its own page: rowlabels.com/refunds. In short, if it did not do what you needed, write to us within 30 days and we refund it.

5. Your data

The rows you process are yours. We claim no rights over them, we do not store them, and we do not use them to train anything. What we do keep and for how long is on the privacy page, which is part of these terms.

6. Using it sensibly

You agree not to:

We may put reasonable rate limits in place to keep the service up for everybody, and we may suspend an account that is breaking this section. If we ever suspend you and you think we got it wrong, email us; a person reads it.

7. What we promise, and what we do not

We will try hard to make label sheets that line up, and we will fix what is broken when you tell us. But this is a small tool sold cheaply, provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and we cannot promise it will be available without interruption or that every printer and label sheet in the world will behave. Check the first page before you print a hundred.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected to Row Labels is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including wasted label stock. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you have consumer rights where you live, these terms do not take them away.

8. Ending it

You can stop using Row Labels at any time; a pass you have paid for runs to the end of its term. If we ever shut the service down, we will say so on this site and by email to anyone on the list, and we will refund the unused part of any pass without being asked.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and we email the list before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, and the courts of Sandoval County, New Mexico have jurisdiction — except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim there instead.

11. Trademarks

Avery® is a registered trademark of CCL Label, Inc. Google Sheets™ and Google Workspace™ are trademarks of Google LLC. Row Labels is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either company. Where we describe a label layout as “Avery®-compatible” we mean it matches the measurements of a standard US label sheet of that size.
